You Might Wanna Throw Away those Tainted Bibles After This.

Ever notice how some men describe their woman as “The air I breathe?” You hear that in songs. I was slightly suspicious of God at one time thinking he was chauvinist, because it doesn’t seem fair, or rather didn’t seem fair some of the things women have to endure from men. However, with new found revelation and new found hope we can press forth in faith that Yah will accomplish that he started.

The Spirit of the Most High Yah or better known as Holy Spirit. However, in Hebrew Ru-awk [Ruach], a feminine persona contrary to popular thoughts of male.
“…And the Ruach of Elohim was moving [to hover, to wait near at hand] on the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2).
Let’s go there to the fact that the Ruach[breathe of Elohim] hovers, that is, she waits close by shall we? Notice then how the Ruach and Yah are two persona that work simultaneously. Male and female.

Yah speaks and then the Ruach acts in accordance to that word. Hence, “Let Us make man in our image (Genesis 1:26). and then later the woman pulled out of the man. Let Us make a suitable Helper ( Genesis 2:18). Yah [maculine] and Ruach [feminine]. Hence, male and female in the character, or rather persona of the Most High. His man and (his) help meet.

Hence, the Helper [Noun], or rather a comforting spirit.

“And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever – the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. (John 14:16-17).

So this is how the woman gets her character, hence being a helper, nurturer, teacher. Feed her and she feeds a nation. Man and Woman of Yah.

Dinah: A Daughter of Promise

black-mother-baby-16x9-thumb-631xauto-31463-436x355Dinah, Yaacob’s only daughter. What became of her? In text there has only been one instance of so called violence against a woman there and it concerns her (Genesis 34). There have been questions in my mind about her for years. However, learning now about the errors in translation; as well as, missing books has prompted me to look for answers.

Here, rape is the premise in the King James text however, I bring another view.

A recap of the event sees “Dinah going out to visit the daughters of the land.” Hence, knowing what we know about Yacob one can note that the family moved around quiet a bit. How do we know that? We know that Jacob had acquired a flock of sheep and goats, and that being that Hebrews are a hunter and gathering tribe, we also know that these tribes moved around alot, because food sources change with seasons and so do water sources. (See: http://hunter-gatherers.org/facts-and-theories.html). Hence, it is fair to say that Dinah, being new to the neighborhood went out to meet new friends (daughters).

“And Dinah, the daughter of Lĕ’ah, whom she had borne to Yaʽaqoḇ, went out to see the daughters of the land” (Genesis 34:1).

There is a problem here then, why does the translated text present a different view? My understanding says that there are terms which lend to excuse in using violence in situations, also lends premise to why women seek abortion and also throws the ‘taking a wife’ law Yah gives and throws it out the window.

“And Sheḵem, son of Ḥamor the Ḥiwwite, prince of the land, saw her and took her and lay with her, and humbled her.” (Genesis 34:2, The Scriptures).

It is the case that changing terms changes the tone of the story. In the King James Bible the term ‘violated’ or ‘defiled’ is used, and in The Scriptures (See: http://www.isr-messianic.org/) uses the term ‘humbled’.

Big difference, Look:

Violate(d). When one is violated, the premise is that a person has been treated irrevelantly, disrespected, desecrated or profaned.

Defile(d). When one is defiled, they are taken advantage of, made foul or dirty, unclean or tainted; made impure.

Humble(d). when one is humbled the premise is that their independence is destroyed, power of the will of that person.

All of these are good terms to know, but one of these is not like the other in the sense that we have to know Law Concerning Virgins to see truth. (While we’re at it lets look at the word concerning the man ‘taking’ a wife for future reference.)

Let’s take a look:

“If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.”(Dueteronomy 22:13-21).

None of this happened, because the very next verse we see, “And his being clung to Dinah the daughter of Yaʽaqoḇ, and he loved the girl and spoke kindly to the girl.” (Genesis 34:3)

In fact we see that Shekem went and asked his father to go to Yaacob and ask for her to become his wife. Here is the true problem:

1) He did not get permission, he just ‘took her’.
2) There was no ‘Brides Wealth’ or dowry committed to the family of the betrothed until after the deed was done. (for definition of bridewealth, see: http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/79255/bridewealth).

This is why she was violated, in the sense of law because she was not betrothed to him. However, we have to know that this is not the brutal rape that we see today. I am taking you somewhere, hang on.

Look what comes next, “And the sons of Yaʽaqoḇ came in from the field when they heard it. And the men were grieved and very wroth, because he had done a senseless deed in Yisra’ĕl by lying with Yaʽaqoḇ’s daughter, which should not be done.” (Genesis 34:7)

She was disrespected (violated) in this sense that once a virgin is found to be no longer a virgin she can’t marry anyone else, according to Hebrew law her life was ruined; as far as marriage is concerned. So we think, because we don’t see anything else about her after her brothers took her out of Shekems house and killed his entire family.

Yaacob was anquished because of his sons. He obviously did not see that the girl was violently raped. He agreed to the marriage of his daughter. Look at what he told his sons:”And Yaʽaqoḇ said to Shimʽon and Lĕwi, “You have troubled me by making me a stench among the inhabitants of the land, among the Kenaʽanites and the Perizzites. And I am few in number, they shall gather themselves against me and shall smite me, and I shall be destroyed, my household and I.” (Genesis 34:30, The Scriptures)

Why are we not told that? We see other women, prostitutes and their story. Hence, Why aren’t we told what happened to her? Surely if she was worth mentioning one would like to know what became of her. Where to look for truth?

In The Midrash (Yalkut Shimoni, 134) says that Dinah conceived a child, a daughter called Asneth (Shekem’s baby). Asneth grew up and came to live in Potihar’s house in Eqypt. Who else was there? Joseph who was the viceroy to the king and also son to Jacob. Joseph, who eventually married Asenth (his neice) and they had two children; Mansseh and Ephraim. (See also: http://www.lib.rochester.edu/camelot/teams/asnint.htm)Now that so called rape has turned into something else hasn’t it? Through Yah, it is showing us that the event was only made violent because of Yaacob’s sons, and that because of it a child grew up without her father. The fact that she was pregnant was taken out. (To see other accounts: http://jwa.org/encyclopedia/article/dinah-midrash-and-aggadah).

Another view that comes from this knowledge is that Dinah was a single mother, and was not a disturbed rape victim she went on to do other things, and her life gives hope to other single moms to live a modest life despite trials that come. (Psalms 45:13). For our single moms, no matter the reason for it:

The story of Dinah now becomes a story of triumph for every woman who is naturally influential. We have our work ahead but press on sister. The best is yet to come, Don’t allow anyone tell you different.

Dancing to the music, or facing it…will you bow?

idol worship 3.=“Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, [That] at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.” (Daniel 3:4-6).

We already know what time it is and it is time out for these excuses to continue on in idol worship. Let’s face the music shall we. America is full of idols, everywhere we look is a statue of some sort going up in memorial of something or someone. Here in Texas, the famous State Fair idol ‘Big Tex’ burned to the ground because of some electrical short. However, instead of allowing by-gones to stay gone…they built another one; a new and improved one. In downtown Fort Worth, a larger than life statue is placed in memorial of John F. Kennedy for no other reason than ‘he stopped by’ on the way to Dallas to be killed. These are just a few examples of an idolized city; so, let us imagine the nation as a whole in this.

But what does the word say…” Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.” (Exodus 20:3-4).

Now one could argue that the images mentioned are not worship; however, the word says “make anything” hence we have erred in this and most probably because the commandments have been tossed out.

See this clearly:

1) Graven imageidol worship
2) Or any likeness
3) In heaven above
4) Or in the earth beneath
5) Or in the water under the earth
So I ask, what in the world are have we done? Do we know? Someone is just doing their own thing at the expense of everyone else.

Look at this:
“Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.” (Daniel 3:1-2).
Everyone who is anyone was invited to the unveiling of the golden image, much like, the unveiling of the images aforementioned. Also, we see the unveiling and ribbon cuttings for other entities; like, our new mercantile, our new church which seats almost the entire city, our new homes. Is anyone getting this vision.

Is there one to say enough is enough?

There is nothing new under the sun…unless you change it.

True Peacemakers of Elohim

blessed-are-the-peacemakers_t_nvBlessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of Elohim. (Matthew 5:9)

Peace, we all long for it, and it is the premise that when someone can live peaceable among messiness they have truly arrived at a level of greatness. Peace in context is the absence of confusion, the absence of war, keeping peace, and so on, and we note that it is an ideal situation when all is calm and quiet.

How does a person come to a level of peace? As I was looking at the definition of it I notice a reference to mental calm and tranquility, but also note the use of “law and order,” and ask do we have law and order and if not how do we get it?

The word on the street is that “The Law” of Yahweh is null and void, however, without it we are thrown into a tail spin, so how do we live in peace if we don’t know the law? The answer is we learn it and live it.

In the United States there are simple laws and there are more complex laws to govern us. I will use a common law against stealing which is against the Law of Yahweh and also man’s law which says “Do not steal.” In this common law we ask why is it not good to steal? Why can’t I go out and take what I want; especially, if I am hungry or if I need a car why can’t I (a person in need) have what I need? For one thing we note the law of the land which is common and says that if I steal I am going to jail or pay a fine in which I most likely can’t pay because of the fact that people with money are lest likely to steal or I will do what the word of Yahweh says and not steal because he says so. In the latter case stealing is not appealing and I have turned away from thoughts of this which in turn promotes peace for my neighbors and society as a whole. Hence, I see that it is for the common good of mankind that this law exists, because there is peace promoted for everyone.

I can hear it, people saying “They steal anyway!” Yes, because they don’t know God and they don’t know Peace. There is no in between, either we know Yah or not. We can’t have it both ways.

Today: The law of Yahweh promote peace and those who follow them are the Peacemakers. Are you one? Study the law and live it, it is for your good.
Know God, Know Peace. No God, No Peace.

Sunday, Leaving the Pagan Lifestyle

Ladies n Gentlemen,

Here is an enlightening thought as we partake of new found knowledge and wisdom today. Let us consider the profound thinking today which is so unlike that which we have been taught. Word has it that to day Sunday has been and today still associated with pagan sun god worship. What this says for many of us is that we are guilty of idolatry and disobedience when we continue on in these things knowing the truth of them. However, we cannot escape saying or writing or living our days out without them. What do we do.?

The word says that we are in the world not of the world. Well,
this says much about how we approach Sunday once we know truth, and we can ascertain that we cannot skip a Sunday in this life, but we can choose not to participate in whatever it is which goes against the Most High.

Hence, we see that some things can be avoided and some cannot. Whatever the case, Yahweh calls us to preach truth no matter what day it is…someone, somewhere needs the word to save them. Therefore, let us continue on towards the mark of the High call that is in the Messiah our Lord.

Instinctively, we no longer participate or blaspheme his holy name. Be ye faithful.

Blessed is he who is not offended by Me

Matthew 11:4-6

4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

This is a profound word! You must really listen to hear it.

John is the one who before birth jumped in his mothers womb upon hearing Mary ‘s (who was pregnant) voice. The word says that Elizabeth (John’s mother) was filled with the Holy Ghost and she Praised YHWH. Why? The anointing was powerful on Mary, she carried the Savior, the Messiah.

This is significant because John is related to Yahshuah but the two never met. His mom and Yahshua’s mom’s are cousins. Notably, John was raised by the teaching of the Torah. Moreover, he was chosen before birth to announce Yahshuah. This is significant because when John is in prison after doing all that preaching and baptizing. Ironically, he had been preaching and baptizing about someone he had never met, nor, layed eyes on and he sent word to Yahshuah to ask was he the one, or, should he look for someone else. Trained in the word of YHWH, anointed for the assignment of announcing the Savior but never laid eyes on Him…obedience, faith in action.

Now then, Jesus says to the two, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

So now we see  what the two messengers were instructed to tell him…John had not been afforded the opportunity to see GREATNESS but PREACH about it; so, he had second hand knowledge of the miracles taking place. He had to depend on others who knew truth to give it to him, hence, at this point they knew more, and saw more than he; basically, witnessing to him what he could not see. He could either accept or reject what that told him. Early on we note with John that he spent much of time in the wilderness, living meagerly; however, his announcing Yeshuah’s coming was by divine revelation. He didn’t attend school like the Pharisee. We hear nothing of a title, yet, he was chosen to announce Yahshuah. Why, because the least likely are the most likely to be chosen.

Yet, Yahshua says “blessed is he who is not offended by Me.” Blessed is he who is not put off by my presence, not jealous, not, and I love this scandalized or see me as a stumbling block…Wow!

Now, offended has a Hebrew meaning, look at this:

Skandalizō is the Hebrew transliteration of offended which sounds like you see it.

Here is the break down:

1) to put a stumbling block or impediment in the way, upon which another may trip and fall, metaph. to offend

a) to entice to sin

b) to cause a person to begin to distrust and desert one whom he ought to trust and obey

1) to cause to fall away

2) to be offended in one, i.e. to see in another what I disapprove of and what hinders me from acknowledging his authority

3) to cause one to judge unfavourably or unjustly of another

c) since one who stumbles or whose foot gets entangled feels annoyed

1) to cause one displeasure at a thing

2) to make indignant

3) to be displeased, indignant

Here’s a great point…we have been discussing YHWH’s true name, and we have most certainly seen people be offended because Yashuah’s name has been revealed. However, this was the name in the beginning and we know that because the name Jesus is 1) a translation, and 2) English which is not 2000 years old, and, 3) the letter j is not a part of the Hebrew or Arabic Alphabet. People have been offended about his name; however, he says plainly “blessed are they who are not offended by me.” For john this meant someone else was preaching now…and for those today who have these titles and authority to teach this might be a little embarrassing that Yah is choosing some least likely people to get the word out. Teaching somethings that weren’t taught in the seminaries and most certainly teaching something you might feel should not be taught for whatever reasons you think.  Yahshua says, “Blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

He who hath an ear for truth let him hear it.

Can You Go? Will You Go?

The more clearly Isaiah saw God, the more aware Isaiah became of his own powerlessness and inadequacy to do anything of lasting value without God. But he was willing to be God’s spokesman. When God calls, will you also say, “Send me”?

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. (Isaiah 6:8)
(Life Application Bible Study Devotion)

Are you willing, even if the calls is not one of comfort?

We can say yes, however, when the time comes to go there we balk and fight because the assignment God is calling us to is against the grain…the grain meaning what everybody is doing.

How many have cooked a pot roast? I’m using an example of the pot roast because those things are really fun to cook because you get to put all these great seasonings, and it slow cooks…how many know that the juice cook through and though when that thing slow cooks.

Conversely, nobody likes a dried out and brittle roast, and neither do that like it tough. I used to watch my mother cut the meat and notably, she said that there was a way to cut it that didn’t go against the grain of the meat. The roast is made with these little lines that if cut the wrong way makes it crumble but if slice correctly you have neat thin cuts of meat that look great along side the potatoes and carrots that are waiting….hmmm, aren’t you hungry?

Well, I’m a witness that when the meat is cut correctly there is not a problem chewing and swallowing; however, if it’s not it gets stuck in your teeth and takes forever to get it out.

This is the way people are when they are asked to do something that goes against the grain of their thinking…they fall apart, because after there is a call, nothing is going to work after that…absolutely, nothing until you pick that thing up and do it.

Seemingly, it’s easier to follow the masses, but it takes much work to keep it together when you have to go against the grain, out of the area of comfort. God has been preparing us for this type of cut…seasoning, slow cooking us to desired gifting. Just right to labor.

God is calling us back, will you go?

Come From Among Them and Live

I said this before people are defenseless to fight in spiritual warfare; unless they have the power given by the Holy Spirit.

We must be realistic people losing their minds, people killing, people doing all manner of evil because Satan is sending his demons out in demonic possession…there is more attacking, the news filled because his time is running out, and the more people who lose their lives can’t get saved.

So guess what saints, we need to step up our game too and tell more about the Way to Yeshua, Gospel.

However, there’s a problem because the church folks aren’t working in full authority either; if any. How can we tell? Look at the people who aren’t delivered, look at news about preachers and other people who can’t handle their problems and resort to murder, and rape, and molestation, adultery just like the unsaved.

So people are dying because the church is failing…yes, failing because instead of worshiping the TRUE AND LIVING ELOHIM…THEY ARE WORSHIPING IDOLS OF MONEY AND MEN. Tell them the truth and save your life too!

People use this text “Unequally yoked” for marriage but this is meant for everyone, because Yah says that if by chance someone is married to an unbeliever that person can be sanctified by the believing spouse; so this is not just for marriage. Furthermore, how are we to sanctify some one who is not saved outside of marriage..this is a big problem when we find ourselves enthralled by idol worship…the world and the church look the same.

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
