Demonic Thoughts.

They come to cause fear and doubt in an already unstable mind…makes you blame others for what you could have already done to save yourself.

“Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).”

(Philippians 2:12)

We are already saved that was a done deal at the cross. But now we’ve been working on changing defeating thoughts, self doubt, and fear. Yes I say fear because Satan has kept us bound by the thought that if someone says, “no it can’t be this way,” then the old man rises to say, “there is nothing else to be done.” And we believe it. Why because we don’t know any better…we don’t know the word…the only thing we know is what we’ve always known.

Some of us are so set in our ways that it would take a brick to crack open open the locks placed on our minds by the enemy. We’re receiving good sound advice and still can’t move from the “straight jacket,” mentalities that have kept us bound for years.

Paul says that we’ve got choices…good sound advice in the word we need to take, and work out those problems and take them seriously. Amen. Because life goes on whether we participate in it or not. Fight for your life…or lose it, be cut off from opportunity…grow old and never recieve and/or accept the wisdom God wants us to have…Wow, can those thoughts that the devil keeps hammering in your mind be so important? Yes, I say important because some of our actions seems more the work of the enemy than of the Lord.

Whose side are you on Oh woman/man of the most High. Make up your mind to live or die. Choose life…work out your own salvation, trusting God to see you through it. Or live in hell!

Choose wisely….
